The public Institution “Tourist Organization of Čačak” was founded by the Municipal Assembly of Čačak on 26 th December 1997. The main activities of the organization are the improvement and promotion of tourism in Čačak, encouraging the development of tourist infrastructure, organizing tourist events and events directly related to tourism.
By decree of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Tourist Organization of Čačak was designated as the manager of the protected area of outstanding features, the „Ovčar-Kablar Gorge“. The Tourist Organisation manages its tourist information centers and souvenir shops located in the city center of Čačak, in Ovčar Banja and within the Memorial Complex on Ljubić Hill.
