Zlatibor is the mountain of extraordinary beauty, mild climate, protected and preserved nature; mountain of health and sport. Located in western part of Serbia with average 1000 meters above sea level, ideal climatic conditions and rich cultural heritage, Zlatibor became modern touristic center with different and interesting facilities and more then 1.000.000 nights per year.

Zlatibor is mountain tourist destination with great conditions for recreation, adrenaline sports, preparation of athletes and sports equips, but also, it is declared as air spa, suitable for healing a large number of human diseases: heart and blood vessel, gland thyroid, diseases of the respiratory organs, treatment of high blood pressure, anemia and many others. Zlatibor is well known as favorite family destination, but also destination for young people and seniors.  Thanks to the rich and diverse tourist offer, Zlatibor has become a destination that attracts tourists throughout the year.  It stands out as a destination suitable for MICE and corporate events.

The tourist offer of Zlatibor consists of a wide range of hotel and apartment accommodation. Exclusive hotels categorized with five and four stars, modern apartment complexes, luxurious villas, ethnic houses and a large number of apartments make Zlatibor one of the best positioned destinations in the region.

Staying in Zlatibor is very fulfilled and meaningful. Today, Zlatibor boasts the longest panoramic gondola in the world. The „Gold Gondola“ connects the center of Zlatibor with the highest peak of the Tornnik mountain. In surrounding of tourist center there are interesting attractions for one day tours and excursions: Stopica cave, open air museum “Old villge” Sirogojno, waterfall Gostilje, traditional wooden churches, medieval monasteries, Mokra Gora nature park with wooden town of Emir Kusturica and old narrow track railway “Sargan eight”.

Beside the attractions in surrounding, in tourist center Zlatibor there are several very interesting places and activities such as Adrenaline park, Dino park – the biggest theme park in Balkan, traditional market with souvenirs and traditional home made products, historic points of big importance for Zlatibor history.

Tourist center of Zlatibor is full of modern and traditional restaurants, bars, cafes, apartments, fun and entertainment facilities and during the summer time on main square it’s organized concerts and theater performances. Most visitors of Zlatibor love to take nice walks in town center across the lake and square because it’s nice pedestrian area.

From center of Zlatibor there are hiking and biking trails to the top of the peaks and viewpoints on most beautiful landscapes. For adventure lovers there is a possibility to rent mountain bikes, quads, arrange paragliding, organize kayak or rafting in rivers Drina, Uvac or Lim.

WINTER SPORTS

Zlatibor is one of the most visited destinations for winter tourism and winter sports in Balkan region. Beside modern ski center Tornik, 9 km away from Zlatibor, in the touristic center of mountain there is ski center for kids, beginners and recreational skiers on Obudoevica slope. During the winter Obudoevica slope become a place with over 5000 skiers every day. Capacity of ski center Tornik iz 5.200 skiers per hour. There are four ski slopes (different hardness levels), one big ski cable car with six seats and two smaller ski lifts.
