The Union of Tourist Guides in Bulgaria (UTGB) is the leading professional organization of tourist guides in the country, founded in 1990. Today, it brings together nearly 200 professionals working in more than 20 languages.
UTGB actively supports the development of the profession through training courses, seminars, and professional events, as well as by facilitating communication between tourist guides, tour operators, and travel agencies. The organization provides access to a database of licensed tourist guides and offers assistance in recruiting tourist guides and translators.
