HIGHLIGHTS AT THE PROGRAMME OF HOLIDAY & SPA 2023
A few days remain until the opening of the 39th edition of the International Tourist Fair HOLIDAY & SPA.
In three exciting days dedicated to the magic of travel, we will welcome representatives of the tourism industry from 15 countries to the IEC – Sofia. We will discover unknown destinations, innovative services and technologies, answer a number of questions and hear new ideas from experts who share their experience and development forecasts.
Highlights of the HOLIDAY & SPA 2023 program seek solutions to some long-discussed and familiar topics, as well as to questions arising from the new realities of tourist demand.
The active participation and commitment of the exhibitors in the work and presentation program of the exhibition prompted us to include a topic that we consider extremely important for tourism in all its forms – information in the public space. Journalists, PR specialists and marketers have been discussing the image of Bulgarian Tourism and the effectiveness of advertising in this delicate and emotionally sensitive business for years. In the discussion THE CAUSE OF GOOD JOURNALISM IN TOURISM, we will talk about the power of the media, about new forms of image building, about whether the media listens to the messages of the state and business.
“1001 Reasons to Work in Tourism” is the fabulous title of a serious topic. THE ASSOCIATION OF BULGARIAN TOUR OPERATORS AND TOURIST AGENTS will discuss how to restore trust in the tourism sector as a place for professional development.
We will talk about the role of attractions, festivals and cultural events as a resource for the development of tourism with representatives of iconic sites and organizers of cult events. We will learn which are the new technological solutions and communication channels that will change the market in the coming years.
“Vita Rama” will present you the first vegan hotel in our country, and our guests from the Maldives will tell you about the sunny side of life.
Bulgarian municipalities traditionally have an active and attractive participation in the EXPO. The Tsarevgrad Tarnovo exposition will immerse you in the life of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, the Battle of Klokotnitsa, the family of Tsar Ivan Alexander and the last days of the Tarnovo Kingdom, and at the Velingrad stand you will touch the realm of SPA experiences and the wealth of spring water.
Wine tourism is part of the presentation of the Plovdiv municipality, and our partners from the Association of Wine Professionals will take us on a journey to five Bulgarian wine regions and the emblematic Mavruda Day. At the opening, the „Malinarka“ dance troupe and the folklore club “Dance for Health” from Berkovitsa will present the charm of our traditions and customs, immersing us in the magic of local folklore.
Experiential wine and gastronomic tourism will present some popular Greek regions in a new light. We will seek answers to a number of questions, such as Utopian expectations or are there real opportunities for green tourism in the event of the Ministry of Tourism, as well as why we should create a tourist destination brand. These and many more intriguing topics will await you in the seminar halls of HOLIDAY & SPA 2023.
