Bulgaria is a part of the tourist destinations with Safety and hygiene travel stamp, announced the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), quoted by the Ministry of Tourism.
The specially designed stamp allow travellers to recognise governments and companies around the world which have adopted health and hygiene global standardised protocols – so consumers can experience ‘Safe Travels’.
The global protocols to recover the Travel & Tourism sector have been embraced by over 1,200 companies, including some of the world’s major tourism groups, and over 80 destinations, ensuring safety and hygiene of travellers are the top priority. These numbers are growing substantially daily.
The protocols align the private sector behind common standards to ensure the safety of its workforce and travellers as the sector shifts to a new normal.
The instructions prepared by the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism for accommodation and catering establishments correspond to the protocols issued by the WTTC, which makes our country part of this initiative. It is also supported by the World Tourism Organization, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and others.
