For the second consecutive year, Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria – Romania is participating with its own stand in the Holiday&Spa tourism exhibition (February 12-14, 2026) at Inter Expo Center in Sofia. This year, the Chamber will present four destinations: the municipality of Craiova, the municipality of Drobeta Turnu Severin, and the counties of Gorj and Dolj in the Oltenia region of Romania – ideal for authentic adventures, rich history, and unforgettable experiences.

With its main role and activities, the Chamber continues to successfully connect businesses, promote economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Romania, and create sustainable and long-term partnerships between institutions and companies in both countries.

Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria – Romania is also organizing an international delegation of over 50 representatives from Romania to visit the specialized exhibition in Sofia and participate in B2B meetings, seminars, and thematic events. The aim of BCCBR is to bring together key institutions and organizations involved in the development and promotion of tourism and sustainable regional cooperation.

The delegation includes representatives from local and regional administration, travel agencies, hotels, and public cultural institutions. Also participating in the delegation are the public administrator of the municipality of Craiova, the mayor of Drobeta Turnu Severin, the deputy regional governor of Gorj County, and the executive director and team of Craiova International Airport. The overall goal of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria – Romania and the delegation is to present the tourism potential, hospitality, and rich opportunities for cultural, historical, and natural exploration in the Oltenia region.

Participation in the exhibition provides an opportunity for direct dialogue between the public and private sectors, exchange of good practices and establishing new contacts in the field of tourism, spa and wellness industry.

A highlight of the exhibition program is the participation of the Doina Gorjului folk ensemble, one of the most representative and well-known in Romania, which will take part in the official opening of the forum. Through the performance of national traditional dances, the ensemble will present the authentic cultural traditions and intangible cultural heritage of the country, contributing to the festive atmosphere and international character of the exhibition.

The delegation’s participation highlights the importance of the exhibition as a platform for developing international cooperation, promoting tourist destinations, and expanding partnership networks in the field of tourism.
