The Municipal Tourist Agency „Tsarevgrad Tarnov“ will present Veliko Tarnovo at the largest tourist fair in Bulgaria – „Holiday and SPA“ EXPO, which will be held in Sofia from February 15 to 17.
The main motif of the stand of the old capital will be the upcoming expansion of the Tsarevgrad Tarnov Multimedia Visitor Center. The new exhibition, which will open its doors at the beginning of spring, will visualize the life of the different strata in the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, their manners, customs, way of life and clothing. Visitors will be able to pass through scenes depicting the Battle of Klokotnitsa, such as those showing the family of Tsar Ivan Alexander and the last days of the Kingdom of Tarnovo.
For the first time Veliko Tarnovo as a tourist destination will be shown through VR technology. The innovative clip allows everyone to take a virtual walk around the old capital and AMR Tsarevets and shows the city in a unique way.
The VR tour of the main tourist attractions is a new product that „Tsarevgrad Tarnov“ is developing and will offer to the city’s guests in the future.
As in the previous editions of the fair, Veliko Tarnovo will be presented with one of the most attractive stands, which will have a separate area for meetings between local businesses, hoteliers, restaurateurs and potential customers from the country and abroad.
