BURSA CULTURE TOURISM AND PROMOTION UNION

The Bursa Culture Tourism and Promotion Union is a regional organization dedicated to enhancing the visibility, appeal, and sustainable development of Bursa as one of Türkiye’s leading cultural and tourism destinations. Operating under the coordination of the Yıldırım Municipality and in cooperation with local administrations, tourism stakeholders, and national institutions, the Union plays a central role in promoting the city’s rich cultural heritage, natural assets, historical identity, and diverse tourism opportunities on both national and international platforms.

The Union carries out a wide range of activities to strengthen Bursa’s position as an attractive destination. These efforts include organizing and participating in domestic and international tourism fairs, implementing promotional campaigns, supporting sectoral events, producing high-quality visual and printed materials, and developing digital content to increase global outreach. The Union also coordinates familiarization trips, hosts delegations, and facilitates collaborations with travel agencies, media organizations, and foreign mission representatives in order to diversify markets and improve Bursa’s tourism representation abroad.

In addition to promotion, the Union contributes to regional tourism development by engaging in project-based initiatives that support cultural preservation, sustainable tourism practices, capacity building, and local stakeholder cooperation. Through continuous communication with municipalities, tourism professionals, universities, and cultural institutions, the Union works to ensure that Bursa’s unique values—ranging from its UNESCO World Heritage sites and centuries-old craftsmanship traditions to its gastronomy, thermal resources, and natural landscapes—are effectively showcased to global audiences.
